Starting our journey to Nepal

Aloha All!
Shane and I start our 2 journey to Nepal!  This is a special post-Covid scouting/relationship building trip.  Of course we plan to do medical house visits, meet with village/church leaders, encourage local believers, explore new unchartered areas, and of course share His love and message with all thise He leads us to.   No exact set itinerary/schedule … but will go when and where He leads us !

I can’t believe that it’s been since 2018 that I was last in Nepal.   I’ve been missing this beautiful country but even more so, I miss the beautiful people of Nepal!!  I know God loves these people and is doing a great thing in Nepal!    They have forever left a lasting imprint on my heart.   2006 was the first year I said , “YES” to going on a medical mission trip to Nepal!   My life has never been the same….. I’ve been wrecked for good!  Each year we have partnered with a local church in Nepal and have brought medical mission teams to serve in multiple remote Himalayan mountain villages in Northern Nepal. No matter how many times I’ve been there, it always breaks my heart every year to see the living conditions they endure.   These villages are about 10000 elevation on the side of a mountain (hills) and are unfortunately 8+ hrs away from the nearest medical hospital.  Because they don’t have running water or electricity so many people suffer and die from preventable and treatable diseases.   We started going to these remote villages in 2007 after a local Nepalese pastor  shared his vision to bring both physical and spiritual healing to these remote villages.
Although we go to serve and encourage the people , they always seem to bless us back with so many intangibles.   They are the most genuine , kindhearted , generous, hardworking, resilient, and loving people I have ever met in the world !   Although it will be my 16th trip back to Nepal, the Lord always has a new adventure in store.   I’m so excited that Brother Shane is coming back for his 2nd trip(last in 2018)!  He is such an awesome brother in Christ that just loves the Lord and loves people with all of his heart !  He has a heart of gold and know God is going to use him in mighty and Powerful ways!!     Thank you all for your prayers for this trip !
Not sure what our connection will be like but will try to update this blog when possible.
